Job summary

Alignerr is seeking a Korean Language Expert (AI Training) to help evaluate and improve AI systems for Korean language learning. You will shape how AI understands, assesses, and communicates in Korean, impacting learners globally.

The role is remote, hourly contract with a minimum commitment of 15 hours per week, fully asynchronous, offering opportunities for ongoing work and contract extensions.

Qualifications

• Native-level proficiency in Korean.
• Experience teaching Korean or evaluating learner language.
• Fluent in English (C1/C2 level).
• Familiar with CEFR proficiency frameworks.
• Enrolled in or completed a Bachelor's degree or higher.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated Korean speech and text for linguistic accuracy, naturalness, and educational quality.
• Assess learner speech and writing across CEFR levels (Pre-A1 through B2+).
• Identify learner errors, awkward phrasing, and pedagogical gaps.
• Suggest improvements for clear, idiomatic Korean and pedagogically sound usage.
• Provide structured feedback that strengthens AI tutoring and language-learning models.
• Collaborate asynchronously with project leads and fellow language experts.
