Job summary

Language Services Associates, Inc. seeks Korean-English interpreters for on-demand interpretation across multiple settings via a web platform. Independently contracted role; strong bilingual proficiency and confidentiality required.

Provide accurate audio and video interpretation, maintain professionalism, respond promptly to calls, and adhere to the Code of Professional Conduct. Experience and industry certifications are preferred but not required to apply.

Qualifications

• Full fluency in both English and Korean.
• Technology proficient (web-based platforms, email, Microsoft Word).
• An interpreting space that is quiet, secure, and free from outside noises.
• 1+ years of professional interpreting experience preferred
• Industry specific certifications/trainings preferred (CMI, CCHI, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Provide effective audio and video interpreting through a web based platform.
• Answer inbound calls in a timely manner.
• Provide superior customer service.
• Adhere to Code of Professional Conduct, including maintaining strict standards of confidentiality.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including professional interpretation protocols and industry specific best practices.
