The position is remote with National Capital Region/CONUS locations and potential travel. Candidates must have ILR 3+ or equivalent, U.S. citizenship or equivalent, and experience in law enforcement or legal settings.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in language transcription.
• Qualifying scores ILR 3 minimum or equivalent in listening, comprehension, and writing on language/translation tests.
• Must have lived 3 of the last 5 years in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Provide translation, transcription and interpretation for DOJ linguistic support services.
• Handle legal, diplomatic, and technical content with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Produce transcripts and translations across multiple formats and media types.
• Maintain fidelity to tone and register of source materials and adhere to ethics policies.
