Job summary

Colorado Connections Academy seeks an Elementary Teacher for its online statewide program. The role involves delivering instruction for grades K-5, coordinating with learning coaches, and using online tools to monitor progress.

You will grade assignments, prepare reports, and communicate regularly with families and curriculum staff. A Colorado K-5 teaching certificate is required, with occasional travel and remote work possible.

Qualifications

• Colorado certification to teach Elementary K-5.
• Strong technology skills, especially Microsoft Office.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Highly organized and punctual.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for events.
• Ability to work remotely and some evenings when needed.
• Must use personal device and email for two-factor auth.

Responsibilities

• Manage instructional program with asynchronous and synchronous sessions.
• Complete grading, create progress reports, and conduct parent conferences.
• Communicate with parents, students, and teachers to develop Personal Learning Plans.
• Develop knowledge of K-12 curriculum and grade-specific requirements.
• Support students with enrichment and daily assignments.
• Coordinate field trips and social activities with Parent Community Coordinators.
• Administer state testing and participate in recruiting events.
