Job description

Job Description

What you spent your career changing lives one classroom at a time. What if your next chapter reached hundreds of classrooms, on your terms?

Time To Teach is looking for experienced K-12 educators to join our national team of trainers and deliver the classroom management and student engagement training we have been refining since 1993. No curriculum to write. No business to build from scratch. No quotas. Just you, your experience, and a room full of teachers who want what you know.

Since 1993, Time To Teach has trained more than 400,000 educators in all 50 states, with content that traces its roots to the work of Dr. Madeline Hunter and Coach John Wooden at UCLA. Now we are growing our national team of trainers, and we are looking for current and retired teachers, instructional coaches, administrators, principals, professors, counselors, and education consultants who are ready to share what they know.

This is flexible, remote-friendly independent contractor work built for educators who love watching other teachers succeed. You bring the classroom experience and the credibility. We bring three decades of proven content, complete ready-to-deliver materials, trainer certification, and a supportive national community of trainers behind you. You will never start from scratch, and you will never work alone.

What You'll Do:
  • Deliver engaging, research-based professional development that gets rave reviews from teachers because it actually works on Monday morning
  • Help educators strengthen classroom management, instruction, and student engagement using strategies refined over 30+ years
  • Draw on your real-world experience to support public, private, and charter schools and districts nationwide
  • Represent Time To Teach with what we call the three P's: personality, professionalism, and passion for the educators you serve
This May Be a Great Fit If You:
  • Are a current or retired K-12 teacher, instructional coach, administrator, principal, professor, counselor, or education consultant
  • Light up in front of a room and enjoy presenting, training, coaching, or leading adult learners
  • Are self-motivated and comfortable working independently
  • Want flexible work that fits around your current position, family, or retirement (many of our trainers keep their full-time jobs)
  • Hold a bachelor's degree or higher in education or a related field
Why Educators Love This Opportunity:
  • Flexible, remote-friendly contractor work you build around your life, not the other way around. You decide how much you take on, and there are no quotas.
  • Meaningful impact: every training you deliver reaches dozens of teachers and, through them, thousands of students
  • A way to stay connected to the profession you love while expanding your reach far beyond one building
  • A warm, encouraging national trainer community that shares wins, ideas, and support
  • Competitive compensation paid per training event, with earning potential that grows with your effort, experience, and engagement
  • Trainer certification plus polished, ready-to-use materials, so you walk into your first event fully prepared
Important Note:

This is an independent contractor (1099) opportunity, not a salaried position. Trainers are paid per event, and earnings vary based on individual effort, experience, availability, and engagement. New trainers complete Time To Teach certification (a three-day program delivered virtually) before delivering their first event.
