Gibson is seeking a Jr. Video Editor to join our Music & Storytelling Content team. This full-time role is remote with occasional visits to our Los Angeles office, preferably LA-based.

You will edit from raw footage through delivery, organize assets, and create social edits, teasers and final cuts following brand guidelines. Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro is required, with basic After Effects and Photoshop knowledge.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of professional or equivalent editing experience.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro or comparable non-linear editing software.
• Basic understanding of After Effects, Photoshop, or other Creative Cloud tools.
• Strong understanding of video editing fundamentals, pacing, storytelling and continuity.
• Basic knowledge of codecs, resolutions, frame rates, aspect ratios and export settings.
• Attention to detail and strong file organization.
• Ability to take direction and incorporate feedback quickly.
• Strong time-management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• A portfolio or reel demonstrating editing ability is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist with editing video content from raw footage through final delivery.
• Organize and manage video files, project files, graphics, music and assets.
• Create rough cuts, social edits, cutdowns, teasers and trailers.
• Follow editing styles, brand guidelines, briefs and project specs.
• Sync and edit video and audio footage.
• Add basic graphics, titles, transitions, captions, music and effects.
• Make revisions based on feedback from Production Manager and team.
• Prepare and export videos for different platforms.
• Maintain organized project files and naming conventions.
• Assist with footage prep, media ingest, transcoding, backups and archiving.
• Collaborate with producers, directors and creatives.
• Troubleshoot basic editing, media and export issues.
• Catalog photo/video assets and stay current with tools and workflows.
