Job summary

Tether is seeking a Junior Project Manager to join the Keet engine team and help keep priorities moving. You’ll coordinate with a globally distributed, async‑first engineering group, turning priorities into clear plans and ensuring releases stay on track.

You’ll work closely with senior engineers to learn technical concepts quickly and grow into technical project or product management in a deeply technical, open‑source environment. This is a fully remote role.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in project coordination, project management, or a similar role (internships and open‑source involvement count)
• Excellent written English communication; you can explain technical progress clearly and concisely
• Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and follow-through
• Comfortable working with engineers and learning technical concepts quickly
• Experience with issue trackers and project tools (e.g. GitHub Issues/Projects, Jira, Linear)
• Self-starter who thrives in a fully remote, async‑first team

Responsibilities

• Track engine work across sprints and releases, keeping issues, milestones, and roadmaps current
• Run or support stand‑ups, planning sessions, and retrospectives across time zones (mostly async)
• Coordinate between the engine team, Keet app/UI developers, and QA so dependencies are visible early
• Write clear status updates, release notes, and meeting summaries
• Help triage bug reports and user feedback, and route them to the right engineers
• Spot risks and blockers early and help the team resolve them
• Keep internal documentation and processes tidy and easy to follow
