Job summary

GDIT is seeking a Junior Distribution Systems Engineer to support a BIM contract with extensive travel (75-100%). Responsibilities

• Assist senior field engineers with troubleshooting and following procedures.
• Support basic installation of BIM contract equipment and infrastructure.
• Help install and upgrade technologies under guidance of senior staff.
• Assist with end-to-end testing of fiber optic cables using OTDRs and power meters.
• Document field findings and report issues affecting project progress.
• Coordinate site access and equipment readiness with Government POCs.
• Prepare basic project documentation and status updates under supervision.
• Maintain network documentation and as-built records.
