Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Jr. Staff Accountant to join our growing Finance team. This is a full-time, hourly W2 position with 100% remote work and comprehensive benefits.

You will maintain customer records, process invoices, run weekly collections, and support audits while maintaining high accuracy and confidentiality. This role requires strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups).
• High school diploma, or equivalent.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (Preferred).
• Demonstrates a high level of customer service ability.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and solve problems in ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and organize all customer records.
• Process customer and vendor invoices and credit memos.
• Collect and process payments from customers and vendors, and record them.
• Manage a weekly collection process: calls and emails.
• Research, track and resolve issues.
• Protect the organization’s information confidentiality.
• Review and enter new customer and vendor information.
• Assist AR, AP, and CFO with audits as required.
• Ad-hoc projects, reporting and reconciliations.
