Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Java Web Application Developer to join a collaborative team in building enterprise web applications. The role combines backend Java/Spring development with modern React UI work, delivering browser-based interfaces and RESTful services integrated with Oracle databases.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in Java, Spring, React or Angular, and agile practices, with strong communication and teamwork. This remote position requires local availability for onsite needs in the US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or Information Systems with 2+ years of experience.
• U.S. Citizenship required; Interim Secret to start; Secret clearance after start.
• Experience designing Java-based web apps using Spring and Spring MVC.
• Full-stack: Backend Java/Spring RESTful services; Frontend React/Angular; HTML5/CSS3/JS/TS.
• Experience with Oracle databases and data access layers.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance Java-based web applications using Spring and related frameworks.
• Develop responsive user interfaces with React, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Build and consume RESTful services and integrate with Oracle backend.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into designs and plans.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Apply OO design and common patterns for maintainable solutions.
• Evaluate tools and approaches to support business goals.
