Job summary

Compass Global Business Services, LLC is seeking a Junior Level Java Software Developer with Active CAC to join its remote development team. You will contribute across the SDLC, take ownership of substantial features, and mentor junior developers while delivering robust Java/J2EE solutions.

The role requires 3–5 years of experience, a BS/MS in Engineering, CS, or Supply Chain, and an active CAC or equivalent security clearance. Salary range is $55,000–$75,000 with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Three to five years development experience including Java, J2EE, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SVN, Eclipse, and PL/SQL.
• Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, OOP and design patterns.
• Experience with relational databases, preferably Oracle.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, refactor, test, and maintain features using Java/J2EE, JavaScript, SQL, HTML and CSS.
• Work with UI technologies and implement RESTful concepts using platform SDKs.
• Debug issues in JIRA, validate requirements in Confluence, and perform root cause analysis.
• Integrate frameworks including EDI, JSON, XML, REST, SOAP.
• Merge code across branches and manage revisions with Perforce(P4V).
• Guide junior developers in implementing new features.
