Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our expanding engineering team, supporting a strategic initiative within the financial domain. You will design and build scalable back-end solutions using Java and Spring Boot, owning the full SDLC from requirements through deployment.

You will collaborate across diverse teams and mentor teammates in a fully remote setup. Join Cognizant to work with cross-functional teams in Poland, the UK, and the US, while leveraging modern CI/CD

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Java with Spring Boot, Kafka, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Hibernate knowledge and microservices architecture.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions and cloud platforms.
• Strong understanding of unit testing, REST APIs, and security best practices.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive ownership mindset.
