Job summary

TwinStream Limited is seeking a Software Engineer - Java and C++ for a 3-month rolling contract outside IR35, fully remote. You will join an agile team developing components of a cross-domain security system, contributing across the full SDLC and translating business needs into robust code.

Key activities include implementing high-quality Java and C++ features, building tests, deploying code via pipelines, and collaborating with developers and DevOps.

Qualifications

• Experience developing software in Java and C++ in a team environment.
• Familiarity with Agile development practices, TDD and BDD.
• Experience with DevOps tooling and deployment pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Understand high-level requirements and collaborate to find solutions
• Investigate technologies to gain understanding of applicability
• Develop high-quality code
• Problem-solve deeply technical issues
• Build tests at all stages from unit to performance tests
• Build deployment code and pipelines with DevOps colleagues
• Analyse and resolve issues from 3rd line support
• Collaborate in code development and review colleagues’ work
