Job summary

BCforward is seeking a Japanese bilingual Project Analyst to join our remote team. The role emphasizes project analysis, customer communications, and translating content between Japanese and English, with a focus on accuracy and cross-functional collaboration.

You will support onboarding surveys, manage customer-facing materials, and help coordinate deliverables with partners, while working 30-35 hours per week on a contract engagement that can leverage the Los Angeles team as needed.

Qualifications

• Native-level Japanese with business proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking.
• English proficiency required.
• Detail orientation and accuracy in analysis and communications.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, with strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide project and analytical support across the assigned business line or functional area.
• Conduct research, analysis, review, and monitoring of new or revised products and services.
• Serve as a liaison with cross-functional partners and coordinate project deliverables.
• Translate and localize Japanese-language content, both written and spoken, for customer communications and internal use.
• Assess quarterly onboarding surveys and categorize Japanese-language responses to enable analysis.
• Support improvements to Japanese-language web pages and collateral materials.
• Distribute customer email communications, including webinar invitations, follow-ups, and outreach emails.
• Receive, acknowledge, route, and track customer tax forms with Tax Operations and conduct follow-ups.
• Perform data analysis and prepare findings and recommendations.
• Edit and review customer-facing collateral for accuracy and clarity.
• Conduct post-distribution monitoring and reporting for customer email campaigns.
• Handle and process customer correspondences with professionalism and accuracy.
