Job summary

Meridian Bioscience is seeking a Project Manager to lead cross-functional new product development projects for IVD assays and diagnostic instruments in an FDA-regulated medical device environment. This role manages from concept through launch with emphasis on design controls, schedule, risk and budget.

The position may be based in Cincinnati or performed remotely, with 20% travel to support project teams and milestones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering or business administration or related field required.
• Advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years leading cross-functional product development projects.
• Direct experience with FDA-regulated medical device development.
• Knowledge of design controls and risk management in medical devices.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, goals and deliverables with cross-functional teams.
• Develop accurate project plans and timelines; communicate plans to teams and leadership.
• Drive ownership and commitment to project plans; propose changes to meet outputs.
• Track and report project performance and milestones.
• Ensure on-time completion of tasks per project and procedures.
• Facilitate cross-functional project team meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
