Job summary

Ardurra is seeking a Project Manager to join our Transportation team in Houston, TX, supporting Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) projects. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program required.
• Advanced degree in Engineering or a related field preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in transportation engineering with emphasis on ITS and traffic operations required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas required, or ability to obtain Texas licensure through reciprocity within six months.
• Experience supporting ITS, signal, and transportation technology projects required.
• PTOE certification preferred.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Experience managing project scope, schedule, and budget required.
• Experience with TxDOT Group 7 work categories preferred.
• Experience working with TxDOT, municipalities, and public agency clients throughout Texas preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage ITS projects for municipal and transportation agency clients.
• Lead project scope, schedule, budget, and overall delivery.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, subconsultants, and technical staff.
• Oversee design efforts involving ITS infrastructure, signal systems, electrical systems, illumination, signing and pavement markings, traffic control plans, and operational improvements.
• Support systems engineering, operational analysis, quantities, specifications, estimates, and QA/QC activities.
• Participate in client meetings, presentations, and stakeholder coordination.
• Monitor project financial performance and manage project controls.
• Mentor engineers and technical staff while ensuring compliance with applicable standards and specifications.
• Support proposal development, statements of qualifications, and business development efforts.
• Collaborate with leadership and clients to identify opportunities for continued growth.
