Job summary

HealthEquity, Inc. is seeking an IT SOX Compliance Manager to lead our IT SOX program, manage ITGC controls remediation, and ensure ongoing IT compliance as systems evolve.

The role partners with IT and business teams to design, test, and implement established IT SOX controls, maintaining integrity and confidentiality across processes. The ideal candidate will have strong IT SOX expertise, project management skills, and the ability to work across stakeholders to drive timely remediation and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, MIS or related field; master’s preferred.
• 7+ years accounting and information systems experience with a focus on SOX compliance.
• CISA certification is required.
• CPA, CISSP, CIA or equivalent certifications are a plus.
• Adapt to a fast-paced environment with a strong work ethic and customer-centric approach.
• Deep understanding of IT infrastructure, program portfolio management, application infrastructure, and secure SDLC methodologies.
• Demonstrate analytical, organizational, and project management skills; able to work independently or in a team.
• Experience with cloud cost optimization and risk areas including financial, operational, regulatory, compliance, and cybersecurity.

Responsibilities

• Partner with IT process owners to identify process improvements and develop internal controls.
• Support process documentation and control design as the environment changes.
• Address control gaps and deficiencies and drive timely remediation.
• Collaborate with IT, database, access and management teams to ensure an effective control environment.
• Work with the SOX Compliance Director to foster an effective SOX framework to support the company.
