Job summary

Veristat is seeking an IT Security Analyst II to coordinate cybersecurity procedures, monitor and report risks, and drive improvements. You will oversee MSP security services, review outputs, and coordinate responses to identified risks, ensuring actions are completed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in cybersecurity, IT operations, security operations or related technical role.
• Understanding of threats, controls and operational practices.
• Experience with MSPs, security providers or outsourced IT.
• Ability to evaluate external provider reports and recommendations.
• Experience reviewing security alerts, dashboards and logs.
• Strong documentation, organization and follow-through.
• Experience preparing reports, audit responses or security communications.
• Judgment for security investigation prioritization and escalation.
• Ability to work remotely and communicate effectively.
• Experience in life sciences or regulated environments (FDA/GxP/HIPAA).
• Understanding of 21 CFR Part 11, data-integrity practices, audits.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate MSP security services, review work and recommendations.
• Lead recurring security reviews, incident and vulnerability follow-up.
• Present findings and recommended strategies to executives and customers.
• Support CIO/IT Manager with security communication and actions.
• Document security findings, risks and remediation steps.
