Job summary

The Silk Factory Studio seeks an Information Technology and Quality Assurance Director to provide strategic oversight of QA, IT, data governance, reporting, and process improvement. This remote, full‑time contract role leads the QA Manager and IT governance to ensure reliable systems and accurate reporting across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in IT/related field.
• 3+ years of management experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Knowledge of networking, cybersecurity, cloud platforms and IT project management.
• Experience monitoring KPIs.
• Experience in continuous quality improvement practices.
• Strong leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the Quality Assurance Manager.
• Ensure QA findings are analyzed and integrated into workflows.
• Oversee IT governance and IT Manager performance.
• Ensure systems and processes support accurate reporting.
• Monitor system reliability, data flow, and automation integrity.
