What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide evidence in response to audit engagement or other assessments/state exams
- Evaluate evidentiary documentation for accuracy and completeness to ensure compliance with audit controls and regulatory requirements
- Create and maintain a repository of support documentation for audit/assessment submissions
- Support the annual government certification activities, including NIST and SSAE engagements
- Review IT Department policies and procedures to ensure they are up to date and accurate
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Strong working knowledge of NIST and SSAE guidelines and their practical application
- Minimum of three (3) years of professional work experience in report development, regulatory compliance, and/or audit management
- Minimum of five (5) years' experience in mortgage services, financial services, or the regulatory industry
- Proficient in MS Office, with advanced skills in Excel and Visio
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience required; Associate's degree preferred
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- LEAN, Six Sigma, or other process improvement/project management training and/or experience
- Familiarity with mortgage industry and/or financial services
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, and technical skills
- Strong time management skills and ability to work under pressure
- Ability to organize and prioritize work schedules effectively
