Qualifications

• Minimum 24 years of experience in IT procurement, preferably within the UAE market.
• Strong understanding of technology products licensing models and vendors.
• Experience with UAE-based IT distributors and suppliers.
• Familiarity with procurement tools ERP systems or platforms like Odoo (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Source and procure IT hardware, software licenses and services.
• Maintain and build relationships with vendors, suppliers and distributors in the UAE.
• Evaluate and negotiate pricing terms and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate with sales and pre-sales teams to align procurement with project timelines.
• Prepare purchase orders, track deliveries and manage documentation.
• Stay updated with local market trends, product availability and vendor performance.
• Support the finance team in reconciling vendor invoices and handling discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with import VAT and local procurement regulations in the UAE.
