Job summary

Ethos is seeking an experienced IT compliance manager to help train an AI language model on professional documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks. You will create and refine SOC 2, ISO 27001, and NIST-aligned documentation while evaluating risk assessments and vendor security questionnaires.

Strong written communication and attention to detail are essential. This role offers flexible, remote, part-time engagement (5–20 hours per week) with ASAP start, and pays $90/hour for seasoned professionals

Qualifications

• 5+ years in cybersecurity GRC, IT audit, or information security compliance with direct ownership of SOC 2, ISO 27001, or NIST work.
• Writing or reviewing risk assessments, control matrices, and vendor security questionnaires against a regulatory framework.
• Expert-level document, spreadsheet, and slide craftsmanship with excellent written communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Create, evaluate, and refine AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks across core workflows.
• Support SOC 2 and ISO 27001 audit readiness documentation and mappings.
• Assist with incident reports, risk dashboards, and board-level security posture dashboards.
