U.S. Coast Guard in Washington, DC seeks an Information Technology Specialist (GS-2210-13) to develop acquisition policies for IT/software programs and oversee their lifecycles.

The role includes advising senior management, supporting major and non-major IT acquisitions, guiding programs through the lifecycle, and ensuring compliance with DHS and CG policy while contributing to program protection and cybersecurity.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, implement, oversee, and maintain adaptive acquisition policies and processes for Coast Guard IT/Software programs that ensure effective lifecycle management of major and non-major systems, platforms, and services.
• Advise senior management on the status of major and non-major IT product and software programs.
• Assist Coast Guard IT/Software acquisition programs through all phases of the acquisition life cycle.
• Provide clarifications and interpretation of DHS and CG systems acquisition policy to help programs meet requirements and support reviews.
• Support acquisition governance through oversight, insight, and foresight; analyze program cost, schedule, and performance.
