Job summary

TestPros seeks Accessibility Compliance Assessment Consultants for remote, project-based work Feb 2026–Feb 2027. You will perform audits on cell phones, document findings, and guide remediation with fixes in software source code. Share outreach materials and conduct trainings to build accessibility awareness.

Required are a BS/BA in a related field, Section 508 and WCAG 2.1 knowledge, and HAC testing experience; credentials like DHS Trusted Tester or IAAP are valued. Rate: $50–$95/hr.

Qualifications

• BA or BS in computer science, information technology, human computer interaction, or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of Section 508 and WCAG 2.1 requirements for IT software and hardware.
• Cell phone hardware testing experience; WCAG 2.1 AA references.
• Use of test equipment to measure HAC ratings (M3, T4).
• Excellent written communication and training abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete audits and validation testing on cell phones.
• Write detailed findings and remediation recommendations for accessibility violations.
• Apply software fixes and accessibility features within the target software source code.
• Develop and deliver informative outreach/educational presentations.
• Prepare and conduct training on accessibility topics.
