Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to lead RMF activities and authorization efforts for accredited cloud environments. This fully remote role is available to candidates in approved regions including DC/MD/VA, Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill, NC, Denver-Colorado Springs, CO, and Dallas-Fort Worth, TX.

You will manage RMF lifecycle, security packages, and accreditation artifacts while partnering with engineering teams to ensure compliant, secure cloud

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of DoD cybersecurity/RMF support or ATO package management.
• Experience with cloud environments, containers, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and continuous monitoring programs.
• Active Secret clearance and DoD 8570/8140 IAM Level I or IAT Level II certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days).

Responsibilities

• Execute and maintain all phases of the DoD RMF lifecycle.
• Build, manage, and maintain authorization packages within eMASS.
• Manage DISA PPSM registrations and maintain ports, protocols, and data flow docs.
• Author and maintain SSPs, POA&Ms, security control narratives, and accreditation artifacts.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to remediate vulnerabilities and map cloud tech to NIST controls.
