Job summary

Gray Tier Technologies in the United States is seeking an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) specializing in NIST RMF ATO to support DoD-aligned cybersecurity programs. This role is hybrid with 50% remote work after a brief onboarding on-site period.

You will develop A&A documentation, validate security controls against SSPs and regulations, coordinate authorization efforts, and serve as ISSO for JSP systems, conducting audits and remediation across the SDLC.

Qualifications

• DoDI 8570 IAM Level II or IAT Level II Certification.
• BS and 8 or more years of prior relevant experience.
• Active Secret clearance or higher (program can support up to TS/SCI).

Responsibilities

• Establish and implement security procedures in support of DoD regulations.
• Develop and update A&A documentation for continuous monitoring.
• Validate security policies per SSP and customer regulations.
• Initiate authorization or re-authorization efforts for systems and coordinate meetings.
• Serve as ISSO for JSP systems and advise ISSM when needed.
• Perform security audits and address audit discrepancies.
• Author/review IS security documentation for eMASS.
• Provide IA SME input across the SDLC and security reviews.
