Job summary

LexisNexis Risk Solutions is hiring an experienced Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to lead security and compliance for our FedRAMP‑authorized cloud. You will coordinate ATO upkeep, monitoring, audits, and security improvements across Azure, AWS, or GCP, partnering with engineering, cloud operations, DevOps, product, and compliance teams.

The role requires strong cybersecurity knowledge, hands-on FedRAMP experience, and ability to operate in highly regulated environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, information systems, CS, engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in information security, cybersecurity, or compliance.
• 3+ years supporting FedRAMP, FISMA, or federal compliance programs.
• Experience maintaining FedRAMP Moderate/High environments.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Serve as ISSO for FedRAMP-authorized systems.
• Maintain ATO and support ongoing compliance activities.
• Lead FedRAMP continuous monitoring and reporting.
• Coordinate annual assessments, audits, penetrations, and 3PAOs.
• Manage security communications with federal agencies and stakeholders.
• Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses.
• Review POA&M items and remediation.
• Ensure proper implementation of NIST 800-53 controls.
• Facilitate security reviews for architecture changes and cloud deployments.
