Job summary

Hartford Steam Boiler, a subsidiary of Munich Re, seeks a qualified auditor to perform ISO 19443 customer audits across the United States. The role requires travel to customer sites to review quality systems, provide feedback, and report findings for potential certification.

Ideal candidates will have a strong background in mechanical engineering or related fields, nuclear industry experience with QMS auditing, and proven writing and communication skills to engage with customers and teams

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Associate's degree in a technical discipline (Engineering, Science, Mathematics, Quality Management) or US Naval Nuclear Power School equivalent.
• 5 years general experience in engineering, design, boiler/plant operations, construction, manufacturing, fabrication, NDE, inspection or quality assurance.
• 2 years nuclear industry experience including quality management and auditing QMS.
• Preferred 1 year ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems or 1 year 45001 Occupational Health and Safety experience.
• Experience with nuclear pressure equipment and materials, site activity, inspection, testing, and engineering services.
• Sales and business management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform ISO 19443 customer audits, including travel to customer sites within the United States.
• Review customer quality systems and provide feedback.
• Write reports identifying findings or recommending certification.
