Job summary

CareOregon, Inc. is seeking an IS Security Engineer II to implement and mature our security program. You will architect, install, and maintain policies and systems to support business objectives and risk management.

The role emphasizes security design, operations, and policy administration, with opportunities to influence technologies and vendor partnerships across CareOregon’s enterprise.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Vulnerability Management systems and processes.
• Knowledge of Security Incident and Event Management (SIEM) systems.
• Advanced in data loss prevention (DLP), IDS, IPS.
• Advanced in troubleshooting of system performance issues and root cause.
• Advanced in network transport protocols and industry standards.
• Ability to program using scripting languages Python, PowerShell, VB, C++, and/or others.
• Strong ITIL awareness and governance practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain security technologies (firewalls, proxies, logging).
• Analyze business needs and recommend security solutions with risk considerations.
• Develop and maintain security documentation and reports.
• Define and maintain information security policies and standards.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams on security requirements.
