Job summary

Weekday AI is seeking an experienced Investor Relations Expert to contribute to a library of IR exercises that simulate public-company communications. This fully remote, independent contractor role pays on a per-task basis with weekly settlements.

You will draft earnings releases, prepared remarks, and Q&A briefings; create investor materials; and analyze ownership data to inform strategy and messaging. Strong IR experience and clear investor-facing communications are essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience in an in-house Investor Relations role at a publicly listed company.
• Direct ownership or significant responsibility for a company's earnings cycle, including: Earnings releases; Prepared remarks/scripts; Q&A preparation; Analyst engagement
• Strong understanding of public-company communications, investor expectations, shareholder positioning, and capital markets.
• Ability to interpret financial information and translate it into clear, compelling investor-facing communications.
• Strong written communication skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently with financial and investor-related materials and produce high-quality deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Draft quarterly earnings releases, prepared remarks, and Q&A briefings for results calls.
• Develop guidance-setting recommendations and guidance revision scenarios, supported by analysis.
• Create investor day and broader IR presentation materials, including: Equity story and positioning decks, Investor presentations, AGM materials, Transaction and deal announcement packages.
• Analyze shareholder registers and ownership structures to understand the investor base.
• Assess activist investor vulnerabilities and identify relevant areas of exposure.
• Develop recommendations related to dividends, capital allocation, and shareholder returns.
• Apply investor relations judgment to ensure deliverables are accurate, credible, and aligned with public-company expectations.
• Work with mock financial and market materials to produce polished, decision-ready outputs.
