Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking an Investment Accounting Senior Manager to lead the investment reporting team responsible for monthly and quarterly closes from a remote location. The role requires strong command of US GAAP and US statutory investment reporting, ensuring timely balance sheet reconciliations and high-quality deliverables.

You will oversee team activities, establish controls, coordinate with auditors, and drive process improvements to strengthen investment accounting and reporting

Qualifications

Extensive experience with investment accounting under US GAAP and US statutory reporting.
Proven leadership of month-end and quarter-end reporting cycles.
Hands-on experience with balance sheet reconciliations.
Experience supervising an accounting/reporting team.
Strong proficiency with accounting systems and spreadsheet analysis.

Responsibilities

Lead the investment reporting team for monthly and quarterly closes.
Prepare and review investment schedules under US GAAP and US statutory bases.
Oversee monthly and quarterly balance sheet reconciliations.
Establish reporting controls, timelines, quality standards.
Coordinate with auditors and internal stakeholders to resolve issues.
Drive process improvements and documentation for investment accounting and reporting.
