Qualifications

• Undergraduate studies in accounting, finance or business administration.
• Accounting major and degree preferred.
• Progress towards CPA designation preferred.
• Seven years of investment accounting experience, preferably in insurance/financial services.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the research, analysis and implementation of new and/or revised investment accounting policies and procedures.
• Advises senior management on industry practices to acquire data, record, analyze and prepare complex transactions.
• Develops and submits complex investment accounting transactions for proper reporting.
• Advises management on accuracy of all reports and data provided to clients.
• Coordinates actions/policies to address unfavorable financial situations identified by analysis.
