Job summary

Every Special Child in Columbus, OH is seeking a passionate Part-Time Intervention Specialist to support students with special needs through individualized instruction in a fully remote setting.

You will develop and implement IEPs, provide direct intervention, monitor progress, collaborate with teachers and families, and maintain compliant records while communicating regularly to parents with a patient, student-centered approach.

Qualifications

• Requires Ohio K-12 Intervention Specialist license.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field.
• Experience with children with disabilities or developmental delays.
• Knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and compliance.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Compassionate, patient and student-centered approach.
• Ability to work flexible part-time hours.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student's needs.
• Provide direct instruction and intervention services.
• Monitor and document student progress and adjust strategies to meet IEP goals.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff to ensure inclusion.
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians about progress.
• Maintain records, reports, and compliance documentation per state/federal guidelines.
• Participate in IEP meetings, team conferences, and professional development.
