Placements24 is seeking an experienced Remote Auditor for a multinational client. This role can be performed fully remotely, focusing on evaluating internal controls, risk identification, and regulatory compliance across business units.

You will work independently with strong communication to remote teams and contribute to safeguarding assets worldwide. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in internal or external auditing, professional certifications such as CIA/CA(SA)/ACCA/CISA, advanced data

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in internal or external auditing.
• Solid understanding of COSO, risk management, and auditing principles.
• Proficiency with data analysis tools (IDEA, ACL) and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute internal audit engagements following professional standards.
• Assess the effectiveness of internal controls over financial reporting and operations.
• Document deficiencies, risks and improvement opportunities.
• Develop actionable recommendations to enhance efficiency and controls.
• Prepare and present audit reports to management and stakeholders.
• Follow up to ensure action plans are implemented.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes.
• Collaborate with external auditors as needed.
• Use data analytics to support risk assessments and testing.
• Continuously improve internal audit methodology.
