Job summary

KeyBank is seeking an Internal Audit Intern for a remote 10.5-week Summer 2027 program in the United States. You’ll gain hands-on audit exposure, receive coaching, and connect with leaders across the bank.

Placement may be in Lending, Deposits, Payments, or Compliance, with potential for a full-time offer after graduation. Applicants should have completed at least three years toward a four-year degree and a 3.25 GPA, plus strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.

Qualifications

• Must have completed at least three years toward a four-year undergraduate degree with business-related coursework.
• GPA of 3.25 or higher and demonstrated leadership or teamwork.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills; proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Gain insight into audits across one or two teams and understand planning, fieldwork and reporting.
• Work within the annual Audit Plan and contribute to current reviews.
• Typical day is around 8 hours; interns’ hours stay near 40 per week.
