Job summary

Welltower, Inc. is seeking a Construction Manager to lead apartment interior remodeling on a remote, travel-enabled basis.

The role requires hands-on renovation experience, blueprint literacy, and keen budget control, with daily coordination of multiple sites in the San Jose/Fremont area and surrounding regions. You will oversee demolition, cabinet installation, drywall, and finish carpentry while coordinating with property managers, vendors, and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in interior residential construction or related field.
• Ability to read blueprints, use a tape measure, and perform basic math.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to multiple sites.
• Strong time management to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Maintain safety procedures across varying environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on renovation tasks including demolition and finish carpentry.
• Plan, schedule, and oversee multiple interior renovation projects.
• Attend project meetings and coordinate with on-site teams and vendors.
• Ensure material availability and project alignment with budgets.
• Generate progress reports and communicate updates to leadership.
• Manage procurement, budgets, and labor/material efficiency.
