IVX Health is seeking an Insurance Follow Up Specialist to support our Billing Operations team in a full-time role. The position offers remote work across the U.S. or hybrid in Brentwood, TN, focusing on denials, payer follow-up, and timely reimbursement for Medicare and commercial plans.

You will interpret LCD/NCD requirements, manage CPT/HCPCS denials, and collaborate with front desk and authorization teams to minimize delays while delivering patient-centered service.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years in healthcare billing, claims, or follow-up.
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, and payer policies.
• Medicare collections for specialty drug coverage.
• Experience with BCBS payers (FL, Independence BC, TX) preferred.
• Familiarity with Medicaid and other commercial plans.
• Detail-oriented with analytical skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Aufgaben

• Investigate and resolve insurance claim denials with speed and accuracy - typically 50 to 100 denials daily.
• Partner with payers to resolve issues and secure timely reimbursement.
• Interpret LCD/NCD requirements and manage CPT/HCPCS-related denials.
• Coordinate with front desk and authorization teams to reduce delays and optimize collections.
• Provide top-tier phone support to patients, insurance companies, and internal teams.
• Work in payer portals (NaviNet, Availity, Medicare portals, and others) and clearinghouses to ensure efficient claim submission.
• Deliver timely and compliant follow-up to meet revenue cycle goals.
