Job summary

Branch is a remote-first insurance company redefining how financial reporting works. As Insurance Financial Reporting Manager, you’ll own Branch’s statutory reporting from NAIC filings to the annual statement, coordinating across Finance, Compliance, Legal and Insurance teams to ensure data reliability and audit readiness.

You will lead the annual audit, maintain control processes, and work with the Data Office to define data requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field with 8+ years in property & casualty insurance finance and statutory reporting.
• Experience leading or coordinating a statutory audit, including the PBC process.
• Strong knowledge of statutory financial reporting, controls, and insurance accounting.

Responsibilities

• Direct the preparation and delivery of statutory financial statements and NAIC filings.
• Own the annual statement end to end, including Schedules B, D, F and P.
• Lead the annual statutory audit and manage the PBC list.
• Analyze month-over-month financial changes and report to leadership.
• Collaborate with Data Office to ensure data controls and accuracy.
• Develop internal control testing framework for growing audit function.
• Support state expansion reporting and regulatory data requests.
