Job summary

Branch is hiring a Financial Reporting Lead to ensure accurate, clear, and compliant insurance financial reporting. You will collaborate across Finance, Compliance, Legal and Insurance to keep data reliable, audit-ready and aligned with regulations while supporting leadership understanding of performance as we scale.

You will document and maintain financial processes to support efficient reporting and contribute to ongoing improvements in controls and data readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• 8+ years of property & casualty insurance finance or accounting experience.
• Experience with GAAP and statutory reporting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze month-over-month changes in financial outcomes with clear reporting.
• Coordinate with Data Office for necessary controls and data availability.
• Develop audit-ready documentation for key processes and controls.
• Direct preparation and delivery of Statutory financial statements and NAIC filings.
• Develop an internal control testing framework to grow the audit function.
• Review cash handling processes and reconciliation procedures.
• Collaborate with Insurance and Compliance on data/regulatory requests.
• Contribute to special projects improving financial transparency and compliance.
