Stone Legal Recruitment is seeking Insurance Defense Litigation Attorneys across junior to partner levels to join its California team. The roles offer fully remote work within California for senior-level candidates or office-based positions in San Diego or Walnut Creek.

Required: JD from an accredited law school and 1+ to 15+ years post-bar litigation experience; trucking/transportation exposure valued for senior-level candidates.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• 1+ to 15+ years of post-bar litigation experience.
• Insurance defense experience required for senior-level candidates.
• Trucking or transportation exposure preferred for senior-level candidates.
• Strong writing and motion practice skills.
• Comfort managing files with limited supervision.

Responsabilités

• Independently manage a defense litigation docket from intake through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, discovery, dispositive motions, and legal memoranda.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Appear at hearings and contribute to trial preparation.
• Communicate directly with clients, claims professionals, and opposing counsel.
• Participate in case strategy and evaluation discussions.
