The ideal candidate has 2–6+ years of insurance defense litigation, a JD, and NJ Bar admission, with strong research, writing, and advocacy skills. Willingness to travel for trials and hearings is required, along with meticulous file documentation.

Qualifications

• 2 to 6+ years of litigation experience in insurance defense and/or personal injury.
• Juris Doctor degree required.
• Admission to the New Jersey Bar required.
• Licensed in New Jersey and compliant with CLE requirements.
• Must be able to travel to trials, hearings, depositions, and meetings.
• Ability to document files clearly and professionally in writing.
• Strong organization and multi-tasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Researching laws and preparing legal briefs, opinions, and memoranda.
• Rendering opinions on liability, damages, and value as requested by the Claims Department.
• Preparing pleadings, motions, discovery, and handling depositions and examinations.
