AJ Chambers US is seeking an Insurance Defense Attorney in New York with at least 3 years of litigation experience. The role offers fully remote work and opportunities to handle defense matters for major carriers and municipal clients, including depositions, motions, and court appearances.

The candidate must be admitted to the New York Bar and possess experience in insurance defense, general liability, or civil rights litigation, with a high degree of autonomy and client contact.

Formación

• 3+ years of litigation experience.
• Active New York Bar admission.
• Experience in insurance defense, general liability, or civil rights.
• Ability to handle matters autonomously with client contact.
• Willingness to meet 2,200 billable hours.

Responsabilidades

• Manage own litigation caseload from inception through resolution.
• Work directly with insurance carriers, municipal clients and opposing counsel.
• Take and defend depositions, draft and argue motions.
• Attend virtual and in-person court appearances and court filings.
• Develop litigation strategy and case assessments for NY state and federal courts.
