Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking an Insurance Collections Supervisor in a telecommute role with occasional in-office days in the Phoenix, AZ area. You will supervise accounts receivable collections, coordinate with Commercial, Medicare/Medicaid payers, and oversee aging analyses and audits.

The role requires 3 years in collections or billing, 3 years in patient accounting, and 2 years of leadership experience. A High School Diploma or GED is required, with an Associates degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the personnel assigned to the section and monitors productivity and quality.
• Interacts with payers and audits, and oversees reports and projects.
• Manages monthly aging and payer meetings with agendas and minutes.
• Ensures compliance with HIPAA and reimbursement criteria; participates in process improvements.
• Serves as a resource within Patient Financial Services and other departments.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
