Job summary

Signature Performance is seeking a Revenue Cycle Specialist for a remote-based position. This role requires a passion for timely follow-up on outstanding insurance claims and analyzing account activity for effective reimbursements.

The successful candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in medical billing, a strong understanding of healthcare claim processes, and excellent communication skills. We offer competitive pay ranging from $23-$27/hour and comprehensive benefits including

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in medical billing or revenue cycle operations.
• Experience with Indian Healthcare, Commercial Payers, and workers' compensation.
• Strong understanding of healthcare claim submission processes.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on assigned insurance claims for timely payments.
• Review EOBs and remittance advice for payment accuracy.
• Contact insurance companies to resolve claim issues.
• Identify and appeal denied or underpaid claims.
• Collaborate with other staff to obtain necessary documentation.
• Update account notes in the billing system.
• Monitor aging reports and prioritize work.
