Job summary

Harbor Freight Tools seeks an Instructional Designer (Remote) to create learner-centered training across multiple modalities. You will work with SMEs to define objectives, design engaging content, and ensure accessibility and WCAG 2.1 standards.

The role requires hands-on Storyline experience, strong instructional design fundamentals, and a willingness to learn new tools. A comprehensive benefits package and remote work flexibility are offered.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Articulate Storyline (min 2 years).
• Solid understanding of instructional design fundamentals and adult learning principles.
• Strong written and visual communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• High learning agility and curiosity.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders/SMEs to identify learning objectives and performance gaps.
• Design and develop learning solutions across modalities including eLearning, ILT, and microlearning.
• Publish and maintain content in LMS/LXP platforms using SCORM/xAPI where appropriate.
• Collaborate with project leads and SMEs, lead meetings, track progress in project tools.
• Evaluate learning effectiveness through feedback and data, and continuously improve content.
• Demonstrate a growth mindset, staying current with design trends and tools.
