Job summary

Jobgether is partnering with a US-based company to hire an experienced Instructional Designer (Contract) to create scalable learning journeys for FinTech and SaaS products. You will own end-to-end development, from concept to delivery, in an AI-enabled environment, collaborating with designers, developers, SMEs, and product teams.

The role emphasizes design systems, microlearning, simulations, and Storyline/Rise development, with Docebo for LMS, and 40 hours per week during standard U.S.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience designing and developing instructional content with a portfolio showing end-to-end learning journeys and measurable impact.
• Experience using generative AI tools in live production (Claude, Claude Cowork, Claude Projects, Gemini, NotebookLM).
• Strong prompting skills with ability to source material, provide context, and refine AI outputs for accuracy.
• Advanced practical experience with Articulate 360 (Storyline and Rise) and 7Taps for rapid prototyping and storyboarding.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, Audition) for multimedia creation.
• Working knowledge of JavaScript and Storyline web objects to extend interactivity.
• Proven ability to design engaging, scalable facilitator-led and live virtual sessions.
• Ability to deliver high-quality work quickly while managing multiple priorities in Agile environments.
• Ability to translate complex systems and workflows into practical learning experiences that drive performance.
• Experience designing customer-facing training or product education with measurable outcomes.
• Portfolio is mandatory; provide a link and password if applicable.
• Availability to work 40 hours per week during standard U.S. business hours.
• Candidates must be based in the United States or Canada.

Responsibilities

• Design complete learning journeys aligned with real business workflows and measurable outcomes.
• Develop storyboards, learning flows, and design packages for scalable development.
• Transform outdated content into modern, learner-centered experiences.
• Create reusable design systems, prompt libraries, templates, and development models.
• Design interactive facilitator-led and live virtual sessions with materials and guides.
• Develop persona-driven microlearning, simulations, branching scenarios, and gamified elements.
• Build courses in Articulate Storyline and Rise for rapid development.
• Integrate video and multimedia to create cohesive experiences.
• Automate template customization to improve flow and engagement.
• Manage course compliance, tracking, and QA within the LMS (e.g., Docebo).
• Work with AI workflows using Claude, Gemini, NotebookLM to accelerate outlining and drafting.
• Review and refine AI-generated outputs with professional judgment.
• Collaborate with SMEs to reflect business objectives and accuracy.
• Handle multiple projects with quality and deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
• Follow SLAs and milestone-based workflows from storyboard to final approval.
