Project-Based Contract, Remote | Global Learning & Development

Description

Goodyear is expanding its global Learning & Development team and seeking Instructional Design contractors to support a wide range of initiatives. This is a project-based contract opportunity, ideal for professionals at various stages of their instructional design careers—from emerging talent to seasoned experts.

We welcome applicants with diverse experience levels. During the selection process, we’ll assess your skills and match you to projects that align with your strengths.

Responsibilities

• As an Instructional Design Contractor, you will collaborate with Goodyear’s Center for Leadership Development and cross-functional teams to design and develop engaging learning experiences for a global audience. Your responsibilities may include:
• Designing and developing instructional materials across modalities (eLearning, instructor-led, blended)
• Building interactive courses using tools like Articulate Storyline and Rise
• Creating job aids, infographics, assessments, and facilitator guides
• Conducting needs analysis and writing learning objectives aligned with business goals
• Supporting localization, translation, and usability testing
• Applying instructional design models (ADDIE, Bloom’s, Kirkpatrick) and adult learning principles
• Ensuring all deliverables meet brand, compliance, and quality standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, or related field, required
• Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., ATD, CPTD), a plus but not required
