Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with electrical contractors, distributors, end users, and utilities through calls and visits
- Create and implement sales strategies in collaboration with leadership and Outside Sales
- Provide technical consultation to customers regarding electrical solutions and identify cross-selling opportunities
- Prepare quotes, manage project statuses, and ensure accurate processing of customer transactions
- Attend customer events and trade shows to support business development efforts
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience with a minimum of 2 years in the electrical industry and business-to-business sales
- Strong negotiation skills and excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Proficient in computer and data entry skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and solve problems effectively
- Capability to communicate with a diverse range of individuals
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the electrical industry with a focus on business-to-business sales
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing customer relationships
- Familiarity with electrical solutions and technical aspects of the industry
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate sound judgment in decision-making
