Job Opportunity Experienced Remote Inside Property Adjuster

A premier financial services organization dedicated to the military community is seeking an experienced Property Adjuster to join their claims team. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional who thrives in a high volume environment and excels at virtual damage estimation.

In this role you will manage a caseload of low to moderate complexity residential property claims. You will be responsible for the entire claims lifecycle including coverage analysis, damage investigation, and final settlement negotiations. This position is primarily telephone based and requires strong technical skills to reconcile estimates without physical site inspections.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a steady volume of residential property claims from initial report to closure.

Conduct thorough investigations into loss facts and policy coverage.

Utilize virtual tools and platforms to estimate repair costs and assess damages.

Identify subrogation opportunities and refer potential fraud cases to the special investigations unit.

Maintain detailed and compliant documentation for every claim file.

Participate in catastrophe response efforts which may include mandatory overtime or occasional travel.

Coordinate with external vendors and partners to ensure timely claim resolution.

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Minimum of one year experience in property claims handling, construction, or related insurance services.

Proficiency with Xactimate or equivalent estimating software.

Demonstrated ability to negotiate settlements and resolve conflicts effectively.

Solid understanding of insurance contracts, state regulations, and jurisdictional requirements.

Ability to obtain an adjuster license within 90 days of hire.

Preferred Experience

Direct experience adjusting moderate complexity residential property claims.

Experience specifically focused on catastrophe claims such as wind, hail, or flood.

Familiarity with Guidewire ClaimCenter software.

Current possession of an active P and C Adjuster license.

Background working directly for a major insurance carrier.

Work Environment and Compensation

This position offers remote flexibility within the continental United States. However, candidates living within 60 miles of a regional office in Phoenix, San Antonio, Colorado Springs, Chesapeake, or Tampa will work in office three days per week.

The annual salary range is between 57,970 and 97,820 depending on experience and location.

The schedule is typically Monday through Friday during standard business hours, but candidates must be available for extended hours, weekends, and holidays during catastrophe events.
