Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare seeks locum tenens physicians for inpatient nephrology coverage with a 100% telehealth workflow. Shifts run Monday to Friday 8am–5pm, with weekend coverage Fri 5pm to Mon 8am. Expect 8–10 patients daily, with possible weekend additions and ongoing assignments into 2027.

Hospital privileges are required. Weatherby covers malpractice, travel, and housing expenses and provides a dedicated consultant 24/7. This is a physician-led opportunity with a strong national network.

Responsibilities

• Shifts span weekday 8am - 5pm and weekend 5pm Fri - 8am Mon
• 8 - 10 patients per day, may fluctuate
• 100% telehealth -- inpatient nephrology service
• Inpatient nephrology and dialysis management only
• Chronic and acute adult patients -- observation status admissions
• Potential for additional weekends and coverage into 2027
• Hospital privileges required
